Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on these fishing trips?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids usually need to be at least 6 or 7 to really enjoy it. The guides are super friendly and can help kids get the hang of fishing. Just make sure to bring sunscreen and some snacks!

Q: What should we wear for the peacock bass fishing trip?

A: Definitely wear lightweight, breathable clothing. It can get hot out there! A hat and polarized sunglasses are a must to protect against the sun glare on the water. And don’t forget comfy shoes that can get wet. Flip flops are probably not the best idea.

Q: What happens if the weather turns bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather looks dangerous, they’ll definitely reschedule the trip for you. Safety is their top priority. Just reach out to the provider a day or two before your trip if you have any doubts. They’re pretty flexible!

Just got back from a peacock bass fishing trip near Boca Raton!

OMG, I had the best time! We went out on the Lake Ida Chain and caught 6 peacock bass, plus a couple of largemouths! The guide was super patient, showed us the ropes, and even took pics of us with the fish. Can’t recommend this enough for anyone looking for a fun day on the water! Bring your own snacks though; the bottled water was great, but some chips would’ve been nice.

Thinking of gifting a fishing trip for my husband’s birthday!

Has anyone done this peacock bass fishing experience? I'm looking at it for my husband’s birthday next month. He loves fishing and I know he’d have a blast. Just trying to figure out if it’s really worth the cost or if there’s better options. Any tips would help!
