A: Yes, participants need to be at least 12 years old to join in on the Peak Ascent climbing activity. Kids aged 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult. It’s a great experience for teens who love adventure! Just make sure they’re comfortable with heights.
A: Wear comfortable athletic clothing and sturdy shoes with good grip. The climbing gear (harness, helmet) is provided, but you’ll want to dress in layers since the weather can change quickly in Estes Park. Don’t forget sunscreen and sunglasses, too!
A: If weather conditions aren’t safe for climbing, they’ll contact you to reschedule. Kent Mountain Adventure Center is pretty good about keeping safety first. Make sure to keep an eye on the weather forecast in advance!

I just got back from the Peak Ascent climbing experience and I’m still buzzing! The views of Rocky Mountain National Park are insane. The guides were super helpful and I felt safe the whole time. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure. Just be prepared for a workout!
