Q&A
A: You don't need wetsuits for this adventure! Just wear a swimsuit and maybe a rash guard for sun protection. Water shoes or sandals are a good idea since you'll be walking on sandbars. Also, don't forget a hat and sunglasses! It's early in the morning, so layering can help too if it’s chilly.
A: Yes, the minimum age is usually around 8 years old for paddle boarding. Kids under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. It’s a great family activity, just make sure they can handle being on the board for a bit. It’s fun for the whole family!
A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, you'll be given the option to reschedule your adventure. Just keep an eye on the forecast before your trip, and the team at South Florida Paddle is super responsive if you have concerns. They want you to have the best experience!

Is the Peanut Island sunrise paddle board adventure worth it?
I’m thinking about gifting this paddle boarding experience to my boyfriend for his birthday. He loves the water and I heard the sunrise views are amazing! I’m just a little worried about the water conditions and how difficult it might be since neither of us have much paddle boarding experience. Anyone done this yet?
Sunrise paddle boarding and marine life!
Just got back from the Peanut Island paddle boarding trip! We saw a ton of eagle rays and even a manatee! The water was so clear, and exploring the island was just stunning. Perfect way to kick off the day! Totally recommend it for anyone wanting a unique experience in West Palm Beach.
