Q&A
A: There’s no official age limit, but it's good for kids 8 and up since some topics can be intense. They usually enjoy the Dole Plantation and Polynesian Cultural Center more. If you bring younger kids, just be aware that some parts may not hold their interest as much. Also, check with the tour provider for any specific age recommendations.
A: Definitely wear light, breathable clothing since it can get pretty warm, especially in summer. Sneakers or comfy sandals are a good idea because you’ll be walking a lot. Don't forget sunscreen and a hat! You’ll want to be comfortable during the cultural performances and exploring the villages.
A: You’ll typically spend about 2 hours at Pearl Harbor, including the museum and memorial. Dole Plantation is around 1.5 hours, giving you time to taste the Dole Whip and shop. The Polynesian Cultural Center usually takes around 3-4 hours, especially if you want to see the shows. Just keep in mind that times can vary a bit based on group size and traffic.

Just got back from the Pearl Harbor tour! Here’s my take!
I went on the tour last week, starting from Kauai and it was incredible! Pearl Harbor is so moving; I didn’t expect to feel so emotional. The Dole Plantation was fun, especially the Dole Whip! And the Polynesian Cultural Center was the highlight, I loved interacting with the performers. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking to learn and have fun. Just prepare for a long day but it’s totally worth it!
Thinking about gifting this tour! Any advice?
My parents are coming to visit and I wanna surprise them with this tour. They love history and culture! Any tips on what to look out for or how to book it? Also, how’s parking if we drive from the hotel?
