Q&A

Q: How long does the entire trip take? I'm worried about my kids' attention span!

A: The tour usually lasts around 8-10 hours from pick-up to drop-off, depending on traffic and how much time you spend at each location. It’s a good mix of history, culture, and fun, so kids usually stay engaged. I'd suggest bringing a few snacks and maybe a tablet for downtime on the van ride, just in case!

Q: Is parking available if I drive myself to Waikiki for this tour?

A: Yes! While the tour includes pick-up from Waikiki, there are several parking options in the area if you prefer to drive. Just make sure to check for any time limits or fees. It can get a bit crowded, so arriving early is always a good idea!

Q: What should I wear for the Polynesian Cultural Center? Is it mostly outdoor?

A: Great question! The Polynesian Cultural Center does have a lot of outdoor areas, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes and lightweight clothing. Don't forget your sunscreen and a hat, especially if you plan to walk around the villages. It can get pretty warm!

Thinking of gifting the Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, and Polynesian Cultural Center tour!

I’m considering this experience for my parents’ anniversary. They love history and culture, plus who can resist Dole Whip?! I’m a bit nervous about the pick-up since they’re staying in Waikiki but I want them to have a guided tour. Has anyone done this tour and can share their experiences?

Just did the Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, Polynesian Center tour!

OMG, this tour was amazing! Pearl Harbor was super powerful, and the Dole Plantation was just fun—who knew pineapple could be so cute?! The Polynesian Cultural Center was the cherry on top. The dances were beautiful and the food was epic. Highly recommend it!
