Sightseeing in Hawaiʻi isn’t complete without a visit to the two symbolic “bookends” of the Pacific War. The 'USS Arizona' whose bombing was the catalyst that propelled the US into WWII, and the 'USS Missouri' on whose decks the Japanese formally surrendered. This tour has a guide whose knowledge of and appreciation for these historic sites makes this memorial tour an experience to remember. Stops and drive-by sites on the Pearl Harbor Remembered tour may include the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument, the 'USS Arizona' Memorial, Ford Island and the 'USS Missouri' Battleship, Historic Downtown Honolulu, and the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? Can kids join?

A: There's no strict age limit for the Pearl Harbor History Remembered Tour, so kids can definitely join! E Noa Tours is known for accommodating families, but it's good to note that some parts of the tour require a bit of walking. If you bring younger kids, just be prepared to help them with the more strenuous spots. Overall, it’s a great educational experience for all ages.

Q: What should we wear? Is it casual or more formal?

A: Casual is definitely the way to go for this tour! Light clothing is best since you'll be in Hawaii, and comfy shoes are a must because there’s walking involved, especially at the USS Arizona Memorial. Just be respectful since it's a memorial site, so avoid anything too revealing. Don’t forget sunscreen!

Q: What if the weather's bad? Do they cancel the tour?

A: The tour usually goes on, rain or shine, but if there's severe weather (like a hurricane warning), they will reschedule. E Noa Tours is pretty good about keeping you informed, so just check your email. It's also good to bring a light poncho or umbrella just in case!

Looking to gift the Pearl Harbor Tour, any advice?

I’m considering gifting the Pearl Harbor History Remembered Tour for my dad's birthday. He's a history buff and I think he’d appreciate the deep dive into WWII. Has anyone been on this tour? How was the guide? Would love to hear experiences since I want it to be special!

Just did the Pearl Harbor Tour - here’s my take!

I just got back from the Pearl Harbor History Remembered Tour and WOW! It was so emotional standing on the USS Arizona Memorial. The guide was fantastic and shared stories that really brought history to life. The tour also included the USS Missouri which was incredible. I totally recommend it!
