Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for kids on this tour? Thinking of taking my 10 and 12-year-olds.

A: Hi! There are no strict age limits for the tour, but it's geared towards older kids and adults since it covers some heavy topics about WWII. That said, many families bring younger kids, and they often enjoy it! Just prepare them for the film and the history involved. The boat ride to the Arizona Memorial is really cool for all ages!

Q: What's the best way to get to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center? Is parking available?

A: Getting to the Visitor Center is pretty easy! If you're staying in Waikiki, the tour includes pickup and drop-off, which is super convenient. If you'd rather drive, there's parking available nearby, but it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends. I'd recommend arriving early if you're driving yourself!

Q: What should we wear? Is it a lot of walking involved?

A: Great question! Wear comfortable clothes and shoes since there is a fair amount of walking involved. You’ll be outside a lot, so I’d suggest dressing in layers and bring sunscreen. Also, remember, it can get quite humid in Honolulu, so breathable fabrics are your best bet!

I took this tour last week and it blew me away. The exhibits at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center were super informative, and the film really hit home. The boat ride to the Arizona Memorial was definitely the highlight for me. It’s such a peaceful place considering the history. Highly recommend it!

Gift idea for my dad: Pearl Harbor tour?

I'm thinking about getting my dad this Pearl Harbor tour for his birthday. He loves history, especially WWII. Is it worth it? What's the vibe like? I’d love to hear from anyone who's been!
