Q&A
A: There aren't any specific age limits for this tour, but keep in mind that younger kids might not be as engaged during the historical commentary. The vehicle is comfortable for all ages, and the staff is great with families. I saw a lot of families with kids around ages 8-12 when I went, and they seemed to really enjoy it!
A: You’ll want to wear something casual and comfy, like shorts and a t-shirt. The tour involves a lot of sitting, but there are stops where you walk around. Just check the weather in advance because it can get really hot and humid. Bring a hat and maybe a light jacket for when the sun goes down!
A: If the boat service is canceled due to repairs or weather, the tour operator usually communicates that the day before. You can still enjoy the other parts of the tour, like the city tour and USS Missouri if you upgraded. Just keep your plans flexible, and check for updates on the Pearl Harbor website.

Just got back from the Pearl Harbor tour and it was amazing!
We just did the Pearl Harbor, USS Arizona Memorial & Honolulu City Tour and wow, highly recommend! The Royal Star vehicle was super comfy, and the driver shared some really cool stories. The USS Missouri upgrade was well worth it — seeing that battleship up close was unforgettable! Just a heads up, check boat service in advance since it's not guaranteed during repairs. Overall, 10/10 experience!
Thinking of gifting the Pearl Harbor tour, any advice?
I wanna get this experience for my parents for their anniversary. They love history but aren’t super mobile. Is it manageable for them? I read that there's a lot of sitting, but how much walking is there really?
