This is a private tour to a public destination. By private, we mean that we don't usually combine groups unless it is only 1-4 people. Please contact us with questions regarding how we privatize. (Minimum 2 guests per booking.) This is a fully guided tour where guides do the driving. NO GUEST DRIVING. Get ready for a fun ride to Peek-A-Boo slot canyon! The best way to get to the canyon is with an off-road machine. Ourmachines are the most fun you'll have getting over the sandy trails to the sandboarding location. Sandboarding is an optional activity for children, teens and anyone that wants to give it a try free of charge. There are sand dunes and beautiful scenery along the way. This slot canyon is away from the crowds and is a great alternative to some of those busy areas at the national parks. The hike through the canyon is not difficult. A short ladder is present. It is a great opportunity for kids and families to relax and go at their own pace.

Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on the UTV tour? My daughter is 9, is she good to go?

A: Great question! There’s no strict age limit for the UTV tour, but kids typically need to be at least 4 years old to ride safely. Since your daughter is 9, she should definitely be fine! Just keep in mind that she’ll need to be able to sit still during the ride. And the guides are really great with kids, so she'll have a blast!

Q: What should we wear for the slot canyon hike? Is it muddy?

A: I recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you can move in. Lightweight hiking pants and sturdy shoes are perfect. The canyon can be a bit sandy, but since it's dry, you shouldn’t encounter mud unless there’s rain. Bring a light jacket too, as it can get chilly in the canyon even in summer!

Q: Is there a chance of cancellations due to weather? What’s the policy?

A: Yes, weather can affect the tour, especially if there are storms. Typically, the company will contact you if they need to cancel and will give you options to reschedule. It’s best to check the weather forecast ahead of time and be flexible with your dates if possible. They really care about safety!

I took my family on the Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon UTV Adventure and it was such an amazing experience! The drive to the canyon was super fun, and my kids loved the sandboarding. Highly recommend!

Thinking about gifting the UTV tour, but need some advice!

I’m considering getting the Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon Tour for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves outdoor adventures but I’m unsure if the UTV part would be too wild for him. Is it really fun? And is there anything I should know before gifting it?
