Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the Pearl Harbor tour?

A: There's no specific age restriction for the Pearl Harbor tours, so anyone can join! However, I’d recommend checking with the tour provider if you have very young kids, just to be sure it's suitable for them. The tour is quite educational, so kids who are old enough to understand the history will definitely benefit from it.

Q: How do I book tickets for the Arizona Memorial?

A: To book tickets for the Arizona Memorial, head to recreation.gov. Tickets are released exactly 8 weeks in advance and then again 1 day before your preferred date. They're super popular, so try to get them as soon as they're available if you want to visit. Some people suggest checking at midnight when they drop to snag a ticket!

Q: What should we wear for the Pearl Harbor tour?

A: Dress comfortably since you’ll be walking quite a bit! Lightweight clothing is ideal for the warm Oahu weather, and I’d suggest wearing comfortable shoes. Don’t forget sunscreen and maybe a hat, especially if you’re planning on being outside for the Arizona Memorial tour.

Thinking of gifting a Pearl Harbor tour! Any tips?

I’m planning to gift my dad a personalized tour of Pearl Harbor for his birthday. He loves history and has always wanted to visit. I’m just a little stressed about the ticket booking, especially for the Arizona Memorial. Is it really as crowded as people say? Any tips for making the most out of the visit would be great!

Just did the Pearl Harbor tour, so amazing!

I went on the personalized private tour last week, and it was incredible! Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the history come alive. We visited the Arizona Memorial and also had time for the Battleship Missouri. It was emotional but really enlightening. Highly recommend it for anyone who’s into WWII history!
