Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the scavenger hunt? Can kids do this?

A: No age limit! The scavenger hunt is designed to be fun for all ages, so kids can definitely join in. Just keep in mind that some of the challenges might be a bit tricky for younger ones, but it's a great way for families to explore together. Make sure to have snacks and water!

Q: What do you wear for this walking tour? Is it all outside?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes since you'll be walking about 2.5 miles! Dress for the weather since a lot of it is outside. If you’re going on a hot day, bring sunscreen and a hat. And if it’s chilly, layers are key. If it rains, I’d check if rescheduling is an option.

Q: Can I do this scavenger hunt at my own pace? What if I need to stop and eat?

A: Yes, you can totally take your time! There’s no fixed schedule, so you can pause whenever you want. Feel free to stop for lunch or just take a break at any of the sights. Just make sure to keep an eye on the challenges so you don’t lose track of where you are!

Thinking about gifting the Philly scavenger hunt for my family!

Hey everyone! I'm looking to get the Philadelphia Historic Self Guided Walking Tour and Scavenger Hunt for my family's upcoming trip to Philly. We love exploring new places but I've got a 10-year-old and a 13-year-old. Is this fun for that age range? Also, how long does it typically take if we stop for snacks? Any tips would be awesome!

Just did the scavenger hunt — so much fun!

I just finished the Philadelphia Historic Self Guided Walking Tour and Scavenger Hunt with my friends and it was awesome! Starting at Independence Hall was epic, and the challenges were really fun. We took our time, stopped for ice cream, and learned a ton of history along the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun day out!
