Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age for the Revolutionary Old City Walking Tour?

A: There's no official minimum age for the tour, but it's mostly geared towards adults and older kids. Younger children might get bored since it's a walking tour and not super interactive. I saw families with kids around 10 and up enjoying it, though!

Q: How long does the tour typically last, and do we need to book in advance?

A: The tour usually lasts about 2 hours, but it can vary depending on the group size and questions. As for booking, I'd definitely recommend reserving your spot ahead of time, especially on weekends. You can usually do it online easily.

Q: What should we wear for the walking tour? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Wear comfortable shoes because it’s a walking tour through Old City, so you’ll be on your feet a lot. Dress for the weather too! If it’s sunny, don’t forget sunscreen. The guide usually covers about a mile and a half or so.

Thinking of gifting the Revolutionary Old City Walking Tour!

I’m considering getting this experience for my history-loving dad for his birthday. Has anyone done the tour? I heard the guides are super knowledgeable and bring the stories to life. Do you think it’s worth it for someone who's been to Philly a lot?

Just did the Revolutionary Walking Tour!

I went on the tour last weekend and it was awesome! Our guide was super engaging and shared lots of fun facts about the founding fathers. The walk through Old City was really pretty too. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something fun to do in Philly. Just make sure to wear comfy shoes!
