Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement for this tour?

A: The tour doesn't have a strict minimum age requirement, but it's best suited for anyone 8 years and older. Younger kids might find the bus rides and museum visits a bit long. Just keep in mind that there are some walking tours involved, so they should be okay with that.

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: You can reschedule for a different date if the weather is severe enough to warrant a cancellation. Just be sure to give them a call or email the company as soon as you know. They’re pretty flexible, especially if it’s due to safety concerns.

Q: How much walking should we expect during this trip?

A: You’ll be doing a fair amount of walking, especially in Philadelphia and DC. Expect around 1-2 miles of walking each day while exploring. They recommend wearing comfy shoes since there are some cobblestone streets and museum tours that require standing around. Definitely pack some sneakers!

Thinking about gifting the 2-day tour to Philly and DC!

Hey everyone! I'm considering this 2-day tour from NYC for my parents. They love history and sightseeing, and this seems perfect! I’m especially excited about the Amish buggy ride. Has anyone done this specific tour? How was the food and the hotel? Any tips?

Anyone else experience the Amish Country part?

Hey all! I'm curious about the Amish Country visit on this tour. Is it just a quick stop, or do you get to really experience their culture? I've heard mixed things about how authentic it feels. Would love to hear your thoughts!
