Q&A

Q: Is the walking tour wheelchair accessible? My friend uses a chair and I want to make sure they can join.

A: Yes! The Philly Gayborhood and LGBTQ History Walking Tour is wheelchair accessible upon request. Just make sure to let Beyond the Bell Tours know ahead of time so they can accommodate you properly. It’s a great experience and they’re super accommodating!

Q: How long does the tour usually last? I’m planning a day out and need to schedule around it.

A: The duration of the tour varies, but it typically lasts about 2 to 3 hours. This gives you plenty of time to explore the Gayborhood and absorb the rich history! Just check with the tour guide on the day for the exact timeframe.

Q: What should I wear for the tour? Is it casual or more dressy?

A: Casual is the way to go! You’ll be walking quite a bit, so comfy shoes and breathable clothes are key. It can get warm in Philly, so layers are a good idea. Just be you and have fun with it!
