Q&A
A: No, the Phoenix Zoo doesn't have age restrictions for kids. It's super family-friendly! Just keep in mind that some of the exhibits might be more interesting for older kids. Under 3 gets in for free, which is a bonus if you have little ones. It’s a great spot for a day out with the whole family!
A: Dress light and comfy! July can be sweltering in Phoenix, so wear breathable fabrics and a good hat. Also, don't forget sunscreen! The zoo has plenty of shaded areas, but you'll be out and about a lot. Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be walking quite a bit.
A: The Phoenix Zoo is open rain or shine! If there's severe weather, they may close some exhibits for safety, but you won't get your tickets refunded unless the zoo itself closes for the day. Just check the weather before you go and plan accordingly. It can be a fun adventure in the rain, but bring a poncho!

Thinking of gifting Phoenix Zoo tickets for my niece's birthday!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting a day pass for my niece's birthday next month. She loves animals, especially giraffes! 😊 I wanted to get any tips or advice on how to make the day extra special. Is there any must-see exhibit or experiences that I shouldn’t miss? Also, are there any good places to eat nearby?
Just visited the Phoenix Zoo and it was amazing!
OMG, I just got back from the Phoenix Zoo, and it was such a great day! The exhibits are super well-kept, and seeing the tigers was a highlight for sure. 🐅 If you're thinking about going, go early in the morning. The animals were much more active, and it was cooler outside. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun day out!
