Summiting a fourteener and bicycling down is a real-life thrill!!! With lots of unknown factors, this genuine mountain experience is not for the faint of heart!!! Our certified world-famous bike team and quality equipment will ensure your breathtaking adventure on America’s Mountain is a blast and is as safe as possible. We depart early in the morning. The spectacular drive up to the summit of Pikes Peak is your chance to check out the route you will be descending on your bicycle. Winding curves, magnificent overlooks, and cute critters highlight the way. Upon arriving at the top, you will take in the splendid views and visit the summit house if you wish. Then it’s time to mount up and bike down. Our guide leads your expedition on bicycle, and the support vehicle follows behind to help with any unplanned needs or if anyone needs to take a break. A few stops along the way for photos and water.

Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for the Pikes Peak E-Bike Expedition?

A: The Pikes Peak E-Bike Expedition is generally suitable for ages 14 and up, but younger riders can join as long as they are accompanied by an adult. It’s really important to make sure they’re comfortable riding a bike, especially on some of those steeper descents! Just check with Adventures Out West for any specific requirements.

Q: How do rescheduling and cancellations work if the weather is bad?

A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, Adventures Out West typically allows for rescheduling within a certain timeframe. They’ll reach out to you if the conditions are unsafe for biking. Just make sure to read their cancellation policy when booking, and maybe give them a call to clarify any concerns!

Q: What type of clothing should we wear for this ride?

A: Layering is key when it comes to the Pikes Peak E-Bike Expedition! Even in summer, it can get chilly at the summit, so wear a moisture-wicking base layer, a warm mid-layer, and a windbreaker. Don’t forget gloves and a helmet (they provide helmets, but you can bring your own if you prefer). Oh, and comfy biking shorts are a must for the ride down!

Thinking about gifting the Pikes Peak E-Bike Expedition, any tips?

Hey everyone! I’m considering buying the Pikes Peak & Garden of the Gods E-Bike Expedition for my partner’s birthday. I hear the views are insane, and biking down sounds like a thrill! Just worried about the cold at the top. What should I focus on to make this a great experience? Also, is it easy to park there?

Just did the Pikes Peak E-Bike Expedition—WOW!

Wow, just wow! I did the Pikes Peak & Garden of the Gods E-Bike Expedition last week, and it was one of the best experiences I've had. The ride down is thrilling! The guides were super helpful, and the views from the top are breathtaking. Just make sure you’re ready for the cold up there! I wore three layers and was still chilly. Highly recommend for any adventure lovers!
