Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the scavenger hunt? Can kids join in?

A: There’s no strict age limit! Kids can definitely join in the fun. Just keep in mind that some of the puzzles may be a bit challenging for younger ones, but it’s a great way for families to explore together. Plus, they’ll enjoy the photo challenges and the sights of Pittsburgh!

Q: What should we wear for this scavenger hunt? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes since you’ll be walking a lot! Depending on the weather, layers are a good idea, especially if you’re doing it in spring or fall. The Eliza Furnace trail can get a bit chilly, so bring a light jacket if it’s a cooler day.

Q: Can you reschedule if plans change? How flexible is it?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if you give notice! Just be sure to reach out a few days ahead of your original date to make changes. They’re pretty accommodating, so it’s worth it to check with them if you have a conflict.

Thinking about gifting the Pittsburgh scavenger hunt!

I’m considering the Pittsburgh Puzzling Adventure Scavenger Hunt for my brother’s birthday. He loves exploring and solving puzzles! I read that it covers cool spots like the Heinz Memorial Chapel, and you even get to learn about the city’s history. Is it fun for adults? How long does it usually take?

Just did the scavenger hunt and it was a blast!

We just finished the Pittsburgh scavenger hunt and I can’t recommend it enough! The challenges were so clever, and we got to see parts of the city we’d never visited before. The Eliza Furnace trail is beautiful. Totally worth it for the price! Anyone else done it?
