A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes because there’s a lot of walking! The village is pretty big, and you’ll want to explore all the exhibits and possibly the Grist Mill if you add that on. I’d also recommend dressing in layers since it can get a bit chilly by the water!
A: Absolutely! Plimoth Patuxet is great for kids. The 17th-Century English Village is interactive, and the animals are always a hit. They even have activities tailored for children at the Craft Center. Just keep an eye on them near water areas!

Thinking about buying tickets to Plimoth Patuxet!
Hey all! I’m looking to get tickets for Plimoth Patuxet Museums for my family, and I’m super excited because we love history! I want to check out the Mayflower and the Grist Mill. I heard the We Gather Together exhibit is pretty moving too. Is it worth it for a family with young kids? Also, how’s the parking situation there?
Just got back from Plimoth Patuxet and it was amazing!
I took my kids to Plimoth Patuxet last week and we all had a blast! The 17th-century village feels so real, and the staff are in period costumes, which made it even cooler for the kids. We visited the Grist Mill too, which was a nice add-on. The We Gather Together exhibit was touching. Totally recommend it!
