Q&A
A: Great question! Kids can definitely paddleboard, but they should be at least 8 years old for safety. The boards are stable, so they can have fun while learning. Just make sure they can wear the life vest comfortably! If you have younger kids, maybe just keep them on a tandem paddleboard with an adult.
A: You’d want to wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting wet. A swimsuit or quick-dry shorts are perfect! Also, a rash guard or a light long-sleeve shirt can help with sunburn. Don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen! You’ll be on the water for a while.
A: Yes, you can reschedule due to bad weather! Just contact Plymouth Watersports as soon as possible. They’re really accommodating and want everyone to have a safe and fun experience. Just be mindful of their cancellation policy, though.

Thinking about gifting a paddleboarding experience for my husband's birthday!
I’m considering the Plymouth Harbor Stand-Up Paddleboard Rental for my husband’s birthday. He loves being outdoors and is pretty adventurous, but he’s never paddleboarded before. The idea of launching from Town Wharf sounds so nice! Does anyone know if it’s beginner-friendly? Also, could I join him or is it just for one person?
Just did the paddleboarding experience, and it was amazing!
I went paddleboarding at Plymouth Harbor last week, and I can’t recommend it enough! We launched from Town Wharf, which was super easy. The staff was friendly and gave a great safety overview. The views of the harbor were stunning, especially while gliding through the calm water. It’s definitely a relaxing experience. I think it’s great for all skill levels, and I even saw some people doing yoga on their boards!
