Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the kayak rentals in Plymouth?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult in the tandem kayaks. It's a great family activity! Just make sure everyone is comfortable in the water.

Q: How long do we get to keep the kayak for, and is there a possibility to extend our time?

A: Typically, you can rent the kayaks for up to 3 hours. If you want to stay out longer, they can sometimes accommodate that depending on availability, so just ask when you go!

Q: What's the best time of year to do this kayak rental? Any weather concerns?

A: Late spring through early fall is ideal! The weather is nice, and the water's calm. Just keep an eye on the weather forecast, as windy days can make it tricky out there. Always best to call ahead if you’re unsure.

Thinking of gifting the Plymouth Kayak Rental experience! Need advice.

I’m looking to gift the Plymouth Kayak Rental to my partner for our anniversary. We love the outdoors, and this sounds perfect with the scenic routes past Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II. Just wondering if the rentals are easy for first-timers? Also, what kind of gear is included? Is it worth the price?

Just did the Plymouth Kayak Rental - what a blast!

We just went out on Plymouth Harbor for a couple of hours, and it was amazing! The views of Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II from the water are something else. Plus, the staff was super chill and gave us a great orientation since we were beginners. Can’t wait to go back and explore more!
