Q&A
A: There’s no specific age limit, but kids should be at least 5 years old to participate comfortably. The tour is great for families, but younger kids might struggle with the paddling part. Just make sure to check with the provider if you have really little ones in mind!
A: Winter is actually the best time to go if you're hoping to see sea turtles and maybe some dolphins! The water is usually calm then. Just keep an eye on the weather forecast before you head out. If it’s windy or stormy, they might cancel.
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit and flip-flops or water shoes. Also, a rash guard or quick-dry shirt is a good idea since you'll be in the sun a lot. Don't forget sunscreen and a hat! It can get pretty hot out there.

Has anyone done the Poipu Sea Kayak Tour? Thinking about gifting this!
I’m looking at the Poipu Sea Kayak Tour for my partner’s birthday. Sounds like such a unique experience, especially with the turtles and dolphins! I love that it’s historical too, following the paths of the Polynesians. Can anyone share their experiences? Was it worth the price?
Thinking of booking Poipu Sea Kayak Tour for a family outing!
I'm considering this for a family trip in Kauai next month! How’s the difficulty level? Is it really suitable for families? I’ve got a 10-year-old and a 14-year-old. Also, is lunch really just a turkey sandwich unless you pre-order?
