Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the PolyFit® class on Maui?

A: No age limit! The class is designed for beginners of all ages, so it’s a great option for families. Whether you’re young or just young at heart, everyone can join in and have fun. Plus, it’s a welcoming environment, which makes it even better!

Q: What should I wear to the Polynesian dance class?

A: Just wear something comfortable! You’ll be barefoot, so light clothing that allows you to move is best. Think shorts or leggings and a tank top. And don’t forget some sunscreen if it’s sunny out—you’ll be having so much fun you might lose track of time.

Q: If we have to reschedule, how flexible is that?

A: Rescheduling is usually pretty flexible! Just reach out to the center as soon as you know you need to change your plans. They’re really accommodating and want everyone to have a great experience. It’s best to keep an eye on their schedule for availability though.

Discussions

Just did the PolyFit® class and it was amazing!

I surprised my partner with a Polynesian Dance Fitness class while we were in Maui and it was such a blast! The instructors were super welcoming and made it easy for us as total beginners. The best part was after the class, we explored the 'Migrations' galleries—they really brought Hawai'i's culture to life! I'd say it’s a great gift for anyone who loves to dance or just wants to try something new. Highly recommend it!

Considering the Polynesian Dance class as a gift, any tips?

Hey everyone! I'm thinking about gifting the PolyFit® class on Maui to my mom for her birthday. She's never danced before but loves the idea of trying something fun and cultural. Any tips on what to expect or how to make it special for her?
