Q&A
A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate. Kamoauli will reach out to you if conditions aren’t safe for sailing. They’re really great about keeping you in the loop and finding a new date that works for you!
A: You’ll want to wear something comfortable and casual. Think shorts or light pants and a t-shirt. It can get a little breezy on the water, so maybe bring a light jacket too. Flip-flops are fine, but something more secure might be better since you’re on a canoe.
A: All ages are welcome! As long as your 5-year-old is with an adult, they should have a blast. The crew is super friendly and engages everyone, even the little ones. Just keep an eye on them since it's a canoe!

Just got back from the Polynesian Canoe Sunset Sail!
OMG, this experience was amazing! We sailed along Waikiki, and the views were just breathtaking. The crew was super engaging and taught us about Hawaiian culture. The poi pounding was definitely a highlight, and the music really set the mood for sunset. We even got to sample some traditional food that was delicious! Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a unique experience in Oahu.
Considering getting the Polynesian Canoe Sunset Sail as a gift!
Hey everyone! I'm thinking about gifting this experience for my parents' anniversary. They love cultural experiences and are traveling to Oahu. Has anyone done this and can share their thoughts? I want to make sure it’s worth it!
