We welcome bachelor’s, bachelorette parties as well as families and groups that would like to celebrate their special occasions. Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the pontoon rentals at Crab Island?

A: There’s no strict age limit! Kids of all ages are welcome on the pontoon. Just make sure to bring life jackets for younger ones; they’re usually required. You can rent them or bring your own! The staff is great about making sure everyone is safe and having fun.

Q: What happens if the weather turns bad? Can you reschedule?

A: You can absolutely reschedule if the weather isn’t cooperating! JoyRide Pontoon Rentals is pretty flexible with cancellations due to bad weather. Just give them a call or shoot an email, and they’ll help you find a new date. It’s a good idea to check the weather forecast before your rental too!

Q: What do you wear when renting a pontoon? Any tips?

A: Definitely go for a swimsuit and cover-up! It’s going to be hot and you’ll probably end up jumping in the water. Flip flops are a must, and I’d suggest a hat and sunglasses too for sun protection. The boat has places to store your stuff, so you can bring a change of clothes for after. Just keep it casual!
