Q&A
A: Yes, participants need to be at least 12 years old to throw axes. However, anyone under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver. It's a blast for teens and adults alike! Just keep in mind that the brewery stops are 21+ only.
A: Dress comfortably! Closed-toe shoes are a must since you'll be throwing axes. Casual wear is totally fine, but maybe avoid anything too loose or flowing that could get in the way. Layers are a good idea since you'll be inside the brewery and outside at the axe-throwing spot.
A: Yes, you can reschedule, but make sure to check with the provider. They usually allow changes up to 48 hours in advance without a penalty. Just keep an eye on the weather if you're planning to go during a rainy season, cause that could affect the schedule too.

Thinking about the Portland Axe Throwing and Brewery Tour for my boyfriend's birthday!
Hey everyone! I'm considering gifting the Portland Axe Throwing and local breweries van tour for my boyfriend's birthday. He's super into craft beer, and the axe throwing sounds like a fun challenge! Has anyone done this? What was the vibe like at the breweries? I wanna make sure it's a solid gift!
Just did the axe throwing and brewery tour - what a blast!
Wanted to share my experience! We started at a brewery called Allagash and sampled some amazing beers. The axe throwing was so much fun; I was terrible at first, but the coaches were super helpful. The second brewery had some killer IPAs. Highly recommend for a fun date or group outing!
