We’re definitely Keeping It Weird on the Underground Donut Tour - Portland Holiday Edition. Come join us as we take a stroll through downtown Portland and try some of the best donuts you'll ever have in your life. Seriously, these donuts are amazing. The tour starts near the PSU campus where we try an assortment of donuts. Next, we take a leisurely walk through the park towards downtown Portland. Along the way you'll learn about Portland history, both for donuts as well as the larger restaurant industry. Depending on what's open that day, we may stop at one of several donut shops downtown, so make sure to bring your appetite. We'll stop along the way to admire the holiday lights and decorations, specifically in Pioneer Square. Lastly, we'll stop at the place that started it all, Voodoo Doughnuts. Don't worry though, because we can skip the line. Along the way, we'll sprinkle in some humor, history, and fun for the whole family. What's not to love? We hope you can make it!

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Portland Holiday Donut Adventure tour?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but it's definitely family-friendly! Kids are welcome, and I’ve seen families with kids as young as 5 enjoying it. Just keep in mind that some of the donut shops may not have a lot of seating, so plan for some walking breaks. It’s a fun way to introduce kiddos to the world of Portland's donut culture!

Q: How does the weather affect the tour? What if it rains?

A: The tour runs rain or shine since it's mostly walking between shops. However, if the weather is really bad, they might reschedule. I'd recommend checking the forecast and bringing an umbrella just in case. Also, wear comfy shoes—there’s a fair bit of walking involved!

Q: What's the best way to get to the tour starting point near PSU?

A: Public transport is great! The MAX light rail has a stop right near PSU, so it’s super convenient. If you’re driving, there are some paid parking options nearby but be mindful of time limits. Arriving a little early is always a good idea to grab a coffee before the tour starts!

Just did the Portland Holiday Donut Adventure—SO GOOD!

I took the Portland Holiday Donut Adventure tour last weekend and it was amazing! We started near PSU and got to try donuts from 3 different shops. Seriously, the holiday flavors were on point! The guide sprinkled in some fun facts about Portland, and we ended up at Voodoo Doughnuts—skipped the line, of course! If you love donuts and want a fun way to see the city, I highly recommend this! Perfect for a group outing or even a family activity.

Considering gifting the donut tour to my sister!

I’m thinking of getting my sister the Portland Holiday Donut Adventure as a gift. She loves donuts and is always looking for fun things to do in the city. Has anyone done this recently? How many donuts do you get? Also, is it easy to walk between places? I just want to make sure it's a good experience before I buy it.
