This is a really fun class. A great way to spend time with friends and family in a positive learning environment. This class is primarily for wheel throwing although we can modify the class to meet your preferences. The focus of this class is I learning the basic foundations for how to make pottery on the wheel. The class is taught in phases: centering, opening, and pulling. After each segment of the demonstration the students will practice what they have learned and we will move on as a group. Its an experience of a lifetime no one should miss. When you are finished you will have an amazing mug ir bowl to remember your trip.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this pottery class in Maui?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but I'd say it’s best for ages 10 and up. Younger kids might find it tough to work on the wheel, but they can join if they have the attention span and are supervised. Just check with David before booking to get his take!

Q: How do you handle rescheduling if we can't make it?

A: David's pretty flexible with rescheduling as long as you give him a heads-up. Just try to notify him at least 24 hours in advance if something comes up. I've had to change plans on my trip, and he was super understanding!

Q: What should we wear for the pottery class? Will we get dirty?

A: Definitely dress casually! You’ll be working with clay, so wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit messy. Aprons are provided, but clay has a way of getting on everything. Flip flops are fine, but keep in mind it might be slippery around the wheels!

Excited about the pottery class in Maui!

I just booked the pottery class with David where you get to make your own mug or bowl! It's mainly wheel throwing, which I've never done before. I'm a little nervous but super pumped to try. It’s a great price too! Anyone else had a blast there? What should I expect?

Thinking of gifting this pottery class!

I'm considering gifting the pottery experience in Maui for my sister’s birthday. She loves crafting but has never done pottery. Is it really good for beginners? What do you think is a good time to go?
