Q&A

Q: What are the age limits for this powered hang gliding experience?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids usually need to be at least 10 years old and accompanied by an adult. Make sure they're comfortable with heights! It’s a great experience for teens and adults, too. If you’re buying for a younger person, just double-check with Paradise Air.

Q: What should I wear for the powered hang gliding experience?

A: Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a bit windblown! Closed-toe shoes are a must since you'll be in a flight suit. Sunglasses are also a good idea since you’ll be up high in the sun. The helmet and flight suit rental is included, so you're set on that front!

Q: What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of our flight?

A: If the weather's bad, Paradise Air will work with you to reschedule. They’re pretty flexible, but it’s best to call ahead on the day of your reservation. Safety is their priority, so if conditions aren’t right, they won't take you up. Just keep an eye on the weather!

Just booked the powered hang gliding experience in Oahu!

Hey everyone! I just bought the powered hang gliding experience for my husband’s birthday while we’re in Oahu next month. I’m so excited! I’ve heard the views are absolutely breathtaking. It's with Paradise Air and includes helmets and flight suits. Anyone done this? Any tips or things we should know?

Thinking of gifting powered hang gliding to my brother!

I’m looking for a unique gift for my brother’s graduation and found this powered hang gliding experience in Oahu. He loves adventure and is always talking about trying new things. What’s the experience like? Is it suitable for someone who's never flown before?
