Q&A
A: Late spring to early fall is ideal for this tour. The weather is usually perfect for hiking and taking in the sights in Spearfish Canyon and Deadwood. Summer months can get crowded, but the blooms and greenery are stunning. Just keep an eye on any storm forecasts, as heavy rain can affect the canyon views and hiking paths.
A: There aren't strict age limits; it's really family-friendly! Kids usually love the scenery and the history, especially in Deadwood. Just keep in mind that if you add on the Devils Tower trip, it might require more stamina for younger ones due to the potential hiking involved.
A: Yes! There’s parking available at the meeting point in Rapid City. Just arrive a bit early to find a good spot. They also provide the transportation for the tour, so you won’t have to worry about driving around while sightseeing.

Thinking of gifting the Premier Private Northern Black Hills tour!
Hey everyone! I’m looking at this private tour in the Northern Black Hills for my partner’s birthday. We’re both nature lovers and the idea of exploring Spearfish Canyon sounds amazing. I love that it’s private, which means we can take our time. Just wondering if anyone has done this tour before and what your thoughts were? Would love any tips or recommendations!
Just did the Black Hills tour and it was incredible!
I recently took the Premier Private Black Hills tour with a couple of friends and wow, we had such a fantastic time! The guide was super knowledgeable about the history of Deadwood and we learned a lot. The scenery in Spearfish Canyon was like something out of a painting. Snacks and drinks were a nice touch, too. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a chill day out in nature!
