Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for children, but it’s recommended for kids ages 6 and up since the hike can be a bit challenging. They’ll love the canyons—just make sure they’re comfortable walking and can handle the heat. The company does provide a lot of support throughout the tour, so you should be fine bringing your 8-year-old!
A: Late September is actually a great time for this tour! The temperatures are generally mild, ranging from the mid-70s to low 80s. Just keep an eye on the forecast, as it can still get a little warm, especially in the canyons. If anything does come up regarding weather, the tour provider is usually pretty good about rescheduling.
A: If you decide to drive, parking can be tricky around the tour pickup points. There’s usually some street parking or public lots nearby, but get there early to snag a spot. Since the tour includes hotel pickup from select locations, it might be easier to just take advantage of that! Saves you the hassle of parking.

Just got back from the Antelope Canyon tour—wow!
I just did the Prime Time Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend tour from Las Vegas, and it was AMAZING! Our Navajo guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. We had lunch sandwiches that were pretty good, and the scenery was out of this world. I highly recommend going during the 11am-1pm slot for the best light in the canyon. If you’re hesitating, just do it! Worth every penny.
Thinking of gifting this tour—any tips?
I’m thinking of gifting this tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love nature but have never been to the canyons. Any tips on logistics? Like, how early should they be at the meeting point? Also, do you think they’d enjoy the hike?
