Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for this tour? Can kids join?

A: Yes, kids can definitely join! There’s no strict age limit, but we do recommend it for ages 5 and up since the hike to some waterfalls can be a bit challenging for younger ones. Make sure to check with the provider about specific child seat requirements if you’re bringing a little one.

Q: What's the best time of year to go for this tour?

A: The best time is probably late spring to early summer when the waterfalls are at their peak flow. However, fall is gorgeous with all the colors. Just keep in mind that it can get rainy during winter, which may affect visibility.

Q: What should I wear for the tour? Is it a tough hike?

A: Comfortable hiking shoes are a must since some areas can be slippery. Layers are a good idea, too, as it can get cooler near the waterfalls. The hike is moderate, so if you’re used to walking on trails, you should be fine!

Thinking about gifting the Columbia River Gorge Private Tour!

I’m considering this Columbia River Gorge tour from Portland for my sister's birthday. She loves nature and has never been to the area. The fact that it’s a private tour sounds super nice! I’m wondering if anyone has done it and what the highlights are? Is Multnomah Falls really as epic as it looks in pics?

Just did the Columbia River Gorge Tour - Amazing experience!

I recently went on this private tour and wow, it was incredible! The guide was super knowledgeable and we got to see so many beautiful waterfalls, especially Multnomah. The views from Vista House were to die for! Just a heads up, we did some moderate hiking, so wear comfy shoes. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a special experience in Portland!
