Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit! Kids of all ages are welcome, but I'd recommend it for ages 5 and up since the tour includes some time on the boat and requires a bit of attention. The captains are great with kids, though, and they’ll ensure everyone has a good time. Just make sure little ones wear life jackets, which they provide!
A: Definitely wear light, breathable clothes since it can get pretty warm out there. I’d recommend a swimsuit under your clothes just in case you want to jump in! Also, don’t forget a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses. Flip-flops or water shoes work fine too, but keep in mind it might get a bit wet on the boat.
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can absolutely reschedule. They’ll reach out if conditions are unsafe. Just make sure to give them a call or send an email to discuss new dates. They’re super accommodating and want everyone to have a great experience!

Just did the Private Mangrove Ecotour, and it was AMAZING!
I recently took the Private 2 hour Mangrove Ecotour with KeyZ Charters in Islamorada and I can't recommend it enough! Our captain was super knowledgeable about the local wildlife, and we saw dolphins and even a manatee! The eco-friendly approach is a big plus too. We brought snacks, which was a great idea since we were out for a couple of hours. If you're considering this as a gift, it’s perfect for nature lovers!
Thinking about gifting the Mangrove Ecotour - any advice?
I'm looking to buy the Private 2 hour Mangrove Ecotour for my parents’ anniversary. They love the outdoors but haven't been on a boat tour before. What can I expect in terms of comfort and ease? Should I be worried about motion sickness? Any tips?
