Just let them know you're a beginner when you book, and they'll tailor the lesson for you. Plus, the two-hour format gives you ample time to get the hang of it!

Q: What should I wear to the surfing lesson? Is a swimsuit enough?

A: A swimsuit is perfect for the lesson! They provide long sleeve rash guards and booties, which help with sun protection and grip on the board. Just make sure to bring a towel and some water. You might also want to wear a hat or sunglasses for after the lesson if you're hanging out on the beach.

Q: Is it easy to reschedule if the weather isn't good?

Just had to share! I got my boyfriend the two-hour surf lesson with Maui Surfer Girls for his birthday, and he had a blast! The instructors were super encouraging, and he was up on the board in the first 30 minutes! I really liked how they provided everything you need. Worth every penny!
