Cruise to the Famous Islamorada Sandbar Come aboard for a fantastic cruise to the world-famous Islamorada Sandbar — the ultimate island escape! We depart from Angler House Marina, tucked along the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, and enjoy a leisurely 30-minute cruise through the scenic Whale Harbor Channel. Along the way, keep your eyes out for dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, tropical birds, and other amazing marine life. Once we reach the sandbar, your Captain will anchor in the perfect spot for you to swim, float, or simply kick back and soak in the sun-drenched beauty of this crystal-clear paradise. On the return trip, we’ll cruise past the Shell Keys, spot some classic lobster traps, and take in views of historic Lignumvitae Key — the highest natural point in the Florida Keys.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this charter?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but the captain recommends that younger kids should be comfortable swimming since you’ll be anchoring for swimming at the sandbar. It’s a super chill environment, so it’s great for families! Just make sure the kids wear their life jackets while in the water.

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes! Nautical Tiki Cruises is pretty flexible. If the weather looks sketchy, you can reschedule directly with them. Just make sure to give them a heads up as soon as possible so they can accommodate you. Better to be safe than sorry!

Q: What should we wear for the sandbar trip?

A: Definitely wear swimsuits and bring a cover-up for after swimming. Flip-flops or sandals are great since you’ll be walking on the sand. Don’t forget sunscreen and maybe a hat! The boat has a bathroom, so no worries there.

Thinking about gifting the Private Charter to my parents!

Hey everyone! I’m considering giving my parents the Private 3 Hour Charter in Islamorada for their anniversary. They love being on the water! How’s the experience? Is it as relaxing as it sounds? Also, do they provide snacks or should I bring my own?

Just booked the Charter, can't wait!

I just booked the Private Charter for next month! I’m so excited. Never been to the sandbar before, but I’ve heard it’s amazing. What’s the best part of the trip? Any must-do activities while we’re there?
