Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Private 9/11 Memorial tour?

A: There's no strict age limit for the tour, but I'd recommend it for teens and up since the stories can be pretty intense and emotional. Younger kids might not grasp the significance as well. Just make sure whoever you're bringing can handle the topic!

Q: How long does the tour usually last?

A: The tour duration varies, typically lasting about 2 to 3 hours. It can depend on the group's pace and how many stories the guide shares. Some folks even stay afterward to reflect at the memorial, so be prepared for that!

Q: What's the best way to prepare for the tour weather-wise?

A: Check the forecast before you go! If it’s hot, wear breathable clothes and bring a water bottle. If it looks rainy, definitely bring an umbrella. The tour is mostly outside, so you want to be comfortable. Also, wear comfy shoes since you'll be walking a lot!

Considering the Private 9/11 Memorial tour as a gift for my dad!

I'm thinking about getting this experience for my dad. He’s always talked about wanting to visit Ground Zero but never had the chance. I love that it's a private tour with local guides who have personal connections to the event. Has anyone done this? How was it?

Just got back from the Private 9/11 tour - wow!

I recently did the Private 9/11 Memorial tour and it was incredible. The stories were gut-wrenching but so powerful. The guide really made the experience personal and meaningful. I highly recommend it if you haven't gone yet! Anyone else have similar experiences?
