Q&A
A: You should definitely wear something you don’t mind getting a bit messy! They provide plastic aprons, but acrylic paint can still splatter. Just wear old clothes or something casual. No need to bring anything except maybe a water bottle to stay hydrated during the class.
A: Great question! The class is open to all ages, so your niece can join in on the fun! Just keep in mind that younger kids might need a bit more guidance, but it's a very supportive environment. It’ll be a fantastic bonding experience for you both!
A: Yes, you can reschedule! Shot of Art Chicago has a flexible policy, but it's best to do it at least 48 hours in advance. If something comes up, just reach out to them directly, and they’ll help you find another date that works.

Just did the Private Acrylic Painting Class in Chicago and WOW!
I just got back from the Fluid Art class at Shot of Art Chicago and it was such a blast! The instructors were super laid back and really encouraged us to get creative. I went with a couple of friends, and we were all amazed by what we created. The colors were so vibrant, and the process of using the hair dryer was oddly satisfying. I did not expect to create something I’d actually want to hang up! Totally recommend it as a unique gift for anyone who loves art or just wants to try something new!
Thinking of gifting the Acrylic Painting Class – is it worth it?
I’m debating whether to get the Private Acrylic Painting Class in Chicago as a gift for my sister’s birthday. She’s not a professional artist but loves trying new things. I love that it seems therapeutic, and I think it’d be a fun way for her to unwind and be creative. Anyone else done it? How was your experience? I just want to make sure it’s engaging for someone who’s more of a beginner.
