This deeply personal tour of Ground Zero begins at the site of what served as a rescue center for victims and place for mementos after the attacks: St. Paul's Chapel. The historic church was miraculously unharmed when the Twin Towers fell. You'll then walk to the 9/11 Memorial where we'll reflect on the lives lost in the World Trade Center attacks. See "Reflecting Absence," the largest man-made waterfalls on the continent. Your private guide will share the meaning behind the memorial, stories from the day, and how New Yorkers came together in the aftermath. Afterward, visit the 9/11 Museum with your skip-the-line ticket for a self-guided tour of the exhibits and artifacts. Next, walk over to Freedom Tower. In the lobby, you can watch "Voices," a film about the Twin Towers and Freedom Tower, before riding the SkyPod elevator 1,250 feet up. Visit the tri-level One World Observatory for panoramic views of NYC, immersive LED displays, and the See Forever Theater.

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just reach out to ExperienceFirst, and they’ll work with you to find another date. They’re pretty flexible as long as you give them enough notice. Just make sure to check their policy for any specific timeframes.

Q: What should we wear for the tour? Is it mostly outdoors?

A: The tour involves a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, so wear something comfortable. Since you'll be walking a lot, good shoes are a must! Also, check the weather, since you might spend some time outside at the memorial.

Just got back from the 9/11 Ground Zero Tour – incredibly moving!

I booked this private tour for my husband’s birthday and it was unforgettable. Starting at St. Paul's Chapel and then visiting the memorial and museum felt so personal. Our guide was amazing, sharing stories that you just don’t read about. The views from the One World Observatory were stunning! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to honor the day personally.

Considering the Ground Zero tour as a gift – thoughts?

I want to get this as a gift for my dad who's from NYC but hasn’t visited since the attacks. I think it would mean a lot to him, but I’m worried about how emotional it might be. Anyone done this tour? Is it respectful and not too overwhelming?
