Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this tour? Can kids join?

A: Kids can definitely join this tour! It's a family-friendly experience, but I’d recommend it for ages 10 and up since some of the history can be a bit heavy. Just make sure they can walk for a bit since we do cover quite a lot of ground in Atlanta. The guides are super accommodating and can help with pacing if needed.

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up? What’s the policy?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! They’re pretty flexible. Just try to give them a heads up at least 24 hours in advance. If the weather looks bad, they’ll usually reach out to discuss options. Overall, they’re really understanding if you need to change plans.

Q: What should we wear? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Comfort is key! Wear comfortable shoes because there will be a fair amount of walking, especially in Atlanta's historic neighborhoods. Dress in layers, too, since the weather can change during the tour. And don't forget your sunscreen if it's sunny! You’ll want to be prepared.

Just did the Private Atlanta History Tour - it was amazing!

I recently gifted my dad a tour for Father’s Day, and we just finished it. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the Civil Rights history come alive. We started at a Civil War battlefield and ended in the heart of the Civil Rights movement. The private transport was a nice touch too! Totally worth it, especially at the price! 🤩

Thinking about gifting this tour but not sure...

Hey everyone! I’m considering this Atlanta history tour for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves history but is not great with long walks. Do you think it’s mostly walking or is there enough driving involved? Also, would it be too heavy for someone who isn’t super familiar with the Civil Rights movement? Any thoughts?
