Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on this charter? Can we bring our toddler?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids will need to wear a life jacket while onboard. It’s best to let the captain know in advance if you’re bringing a toddler. They’ll make sure you have the proper gear and any accommodations you might need for a small child.

Q: How easy is parking near the launch site? Are there any fees?

A: Parking is pretty straightforward! There’s a public lot nearby that charges around $10 for the day. Arriving early can help snag a spot since it can get busy, especially on weekends.

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather looks bad on our booked day?

A: Yes! They’re very accommodating when it comes to weather. Just give them a heads-up a day in advance if things look rough. You can usually reschedule without any hassle.

Thinking about booking the Grateful Red for a birthday surprise!

Hey everyone! I'm looking to book the private boat charter on Emerald Bay for my friend's birthday next month. It sounds amazing! Has anyone done this yet? I love that it’s all-inclusive and we can bring food and drinks (except red wine, lol). Just wondering how smooth the ride is and if anyone has tips for making it extra special?

Just did the Emerald Bay charter - Here’s my review!

Wow, I can’t recommend the Grateful Red boat charter enough! We went last weekend, and it was an incredible experience. The captain was super chill and showed us all the best spots. Seeing Emerald Bay up close was just breathtaking. We brought along some sandwiches and drinks, and it felt like a mini party out on the water. The price includes gas, which is a big plus. Seriously, you gotta try it if you're thinking about it!
