A: No age restrictions! The tour is suitable for all ages, so it’s perfect for families or anyone who loves movies. Just keep in mind that younger kids might not enjoy it as much, but if they’re into films, they’ll have a blast spotting locations from their favorite shows and movies. If you have any specific age-related questions, you can always reach out to On Location Tours for more info!
A: The tour runs rain or shine, but if the weather is severe, On Location Tours usually offers a rescheduling option. Just make sure to check the forecast ahead of time! If it looks like it might rain, bring an umbrella and wear comfy shoes just in case the paths are wet. It’s Boston—expect the unexpected!
A: Definitely wear comfy shoes! It’s a walking tour, so you’ll be on your feet for about 1.5 hours. Bring layers, too, since Boston weather can change quickly. I’d suggest casual wear—nothing too fancy. Just be comfy and ready to walk around and soak up those film locations!

I love that it’s personalized with a local actor as the guide. Just wanted to know how well it captures iconic scenes—did you guys notice lots of great locations? Would love any tips from those who’ve gone already!
Just did the Boston Movie Mile tour and it was awesome!
I finally went on the Private Boston Movie Mile tour last weekend, and wow, it was such a good time! Our guide was super knowledgeable and shared some hilarious behind-the-scenes stories from the films shot around Boston. I especially loved seeing the spots from 'Good Will Hunting' and 'Cheers'. Anyone else done it? What was your favorite location?
