Our tours at the Maui Nui Botanical Garden connect you to a real local organization dedicated to conserving native Hawaiian plants, cultivating and preserving Polynesian introduced food crops, and perpetuating Native Hawaiian culture for future generations. We have an established relationship with the Maui Nui Botanical Garden and are the only company allowed to give tours at the gardens. Q&A

Q: Is there a limit on how many people can join the private tour at the Maui Nui Botanical Garden?

A: Yes, the private tours are designed for small groups to ensure an intimate experience. Typically, they can accommodate up to 6 people. This allows for personalized interaction with the guide and a deeper dive into the unique plants and history of the garden. Just make sure to book well in advance, especially during peak season!

Q: What should I wear for the private botanical garden experience?

A: Comfortable clothing is best! Since it’s in Maui, lightweight and breathable fabrics are ideal. Don’t forget a hat and sunglasses for sun protection. Closed-toe shoes can be great for walking around the garden paths. And, definitely consider bringing a light jacket if you’re going in the morning or evening when it can be a bit cooler.

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather looks bad for our planned visit to the garden?

A: Absolutely! They understand that weather can be unpredictable in Maui. If you need to reschedule, just give them a call or email at least 24 hours in advance, and they'll work with you to find a new date. It's nice to know they’re flexible!

Just booked the Private Botanical Garden Experience in Maui! Any tips?

I just got the Private Botanical Garden Experience for my parents' anniversary, and I’m so excited! I've read that it includes coffee and tea, which is perfect for their morning tour. I hope they get to see the native plants up close and learn about the Polynesian crops. Has anyone done this? Any must-see spots or tips to make it special?

Anyone else love the Maui Nui Botanical Garden experience?

I took the private tour last month and it was one of the highlights of my trip! The guide was really passionate about the native plants. Plus, sipping coffee while walking through those gorgeous gardens was so relaxing. If you’re thinking about gifting this to someone, do it! They're in for a treat!
