Q&A

Q: Is there a specific age limit for the Boulder Peaks & Wilderness Tours? I'm thinking about taking my kids.

A: There's no strict age limit, but it's best suited for kids 8 and up who can handle some hiking. Ryan and Aylyn are great with families and will adjust the pace based on the group's abilities. Just keep in mind that the terrain can be rugged, so make sure your kids are prepared for that!

Q: What should I wear for the hike on the Mallory Cave Trail? I'm not super experienced.

A: Wear comfortable hiking shoes with good traction, and dress in layers! The weather can change quickly in Boulder. I’d recommend moisture-wicking clothing and bringing a light jacket or hoodie just in case. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and a hat!

Q: How do they handle rescheduling if the weather's bad on the day of the tour?

A: They reach out the day before to confirm the best time based on weather conditions. If it’s looking unsafe, they’ll work with you to find a new date that works. I had to reschedule once due to rain, and it was super easy!

Thinking of gifting the Boulder Peaks hike - any tips?

I’m considering this Boulder Peaks & Wilderness Tour for my partner's birthday. We both love nature, but I've never done a guided hike before. What’s the vibe like? Are Ryan and Aylyn cool guides? I want to make sure it’s a memorable experience. Also, any must-bring items?

Just did the Mallory Cave Trail hike - so worth it!

I went on the Boulder Peaks & Wilderness Tours last weekend, and it was amazing! The flatirons are stunning, and the guides were super knowledgeable. It was a bit challenging in parts, but totally manageable. We saw some beautiful wildflowers and even spotted a deer! Highly recommend it if you’re in Boulder.
