Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this birding photography tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it’s best suited for teens and adults who can handle a full day of outdoor activity. Kids might enjoy it, too, but just keep in mind that they'll need to be quiet and patient while we’re out birding. The tour provider is flexible and can adapt to the group's needs!

Q: What should I wear for the birding tour?

A: Dress comfortably for a day outside! I'd recommend wearing layers, especially since mornings can be chilly in Newport Beach. Bring a hat and sunglasses, and don't forget sturdy shoes since we’ll be walking quite a bit. Also, sunscreen is a must!

Q: How does rescheduling work if the weather is bad?

A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the provider is usually flexible about rescheduling. They’ll likely reach out to you before the tour to discuss options. You can always contact them directly for peace of mind, too!

Just did the Private Birding Photography Tour in Newport Beach!

I can’t believe how many species we saw! The guide was so knowledgeable and we got some amazing photos. They provided lunch and all the drinks, which was awesome. It was a fantastic way to spend a day outdoors! If you're considering this as a gift for a bird lover, I highly recommend it. Just be sure to wear comfy shoes since we did a lot of walking.

Thinking of gifting the Birding Photography Tour for my dad!

He’s a huge bird enthusiast but can be picky about tours. I’m worried if he’ll enjoy it or if it’ll be too gimmicky. How does it really go? Is it more about the birds or the photography aspect? Any insights would be appreciated!
