Q&A
A: Yes, this canyoneering adventure is beginner-friendly, so kids around 10 and up can typically handle it, depending on their comfort level with heights and physical activity. Just keep in mind that the biggest rappel is 55 feet, so it's crucial they feel confident and excited about the experience! It's a great family activity if everyone is ready for a little adventure!
A: Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty, like athletic wear. Sturdy shoes are a must—definitely no flip-flops! Also, consider a hat and sunscreen since you'll be out in the sun. If it’s been rainy, maybe bring a light rain jacket just in case. It can get a bit slippery in the canyon!
A: Sundial Guides has a pretty flexible cancellation policy. If the weather is bad and they have to cancel, you’ll get a full refund or can reschedule for another day that fits your group. Just make sure to call ahead if there's a chance of storms or heavy rain, as safety is their top priority!

Just did the private canyoneering adventure near Lake Powell! So much fun!
I just got back from the Blue Pools canyoneering experience with a couple of friends, and WOW, what a blast! The scenery is absolutely stunning, and rappelling down that 55-foot drop was such a thrill! Our guide from Sundial was super chill and made sure we were all comfortable. We had a few giggles and some moments of nervousness, but in the end, it was all worth it! Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a cool adventure around Page, AZ.
Thinking of gifting this canyoneering trip!
I’m looking to gift this canyoneering adventure near Lake Powell to my boyfriend for his birthday. He loves outdoorsy stuff, but he’s also kind of nervous about heights. Do you think this is a decent intro to rappelling? Any advice for first-timers? I just want it to be a fun experience for him!
