Q&A

Q: What kind of shoes do you recommend for the hiking part of the tour?

A: Definitely wear good hiking shoes or boots! The trail is classified as low moderate but can get a bit rocky in places. I wore my trail runners and was fine, but if you have ankle support shoes, that might be better. Also, bring some layers because the weather can change quickly in the mountains.

Q: Can I customize the tour to skip Leavenworth if I've already been?

A: Yes! You can absolutely customize the experience. Just let Cheryl's Northwest Tours know in advance that you want to skip Leavenworth, and they’ll set up the hiking part in the Snoqualmie area instead. It's a great way to see more nature if that's what you're after!

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but I’d say it’s best for kids who are around 8 and up, especially for the hiking. Younger kids might find the trail a bit tough, but if they're used to walking, it could be fun for them too! Just check with Cheryl’s to see if they have any specific recommendations.

Thinking about gifting the Cascade Mountains Tour, anyone done it?

I’m seriously considering buying the Private Cascade Mountains and Waterfalls Tour for my sister’s birthday. I love that it includes a stop at a Bavarian village, but I’m also curious about the hiking. Is the hike beginner-friendly? What’s the best time of year to go? Any tips?

Anyone have experience with Cheryl's Northwest Tours?

Just heard about this Private Cascade Mountains and Waterfalls Tour, but I’m a bit hesitant. Is it worth the price? What’s included exactly? Also, how's the pickup from Seattle?
