Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the catamaran? Thinking of gifting this to my family.

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids generally need to be able to swim or wear a life jacket. Captain Kip is super accommodating and loves kids, so it should be great for families! Just make sure they’re comfortable on the water.

Q: What should we wear for the catamaran? Is it chill or more formal?

A: Casual is the way to go! Light clothing, swimwear underneath, and a cover-up are perfect. Don't forget flip-flops and a hat! You’ll be lounging on bean bags, so comfort is key.

Q: What happens if the weather's bad? Can we reschedule?

A: Yep, you can definitely reschedule if the weather isn’t cooperating! Captain Kip will usually contact you to discuss options. They’re pretty flexible about finding a new date that works for everyone.

Just went on the catamaran and it was AMAZING!

I did the Private Catamaran experience in Destin with Captain Kip last weekend and I can’t recommend it enough! The snorkeling spots were incredible, and we even saw dolphins swimming alongside us. Kip has this great sound system so we could chill with our own playlist while lounging on the bean bags. Totally worth it for the price, which I think is just the experience of being out on the water. Can’t wait to do it again!

Thinking about gifting the catamaran experience!

I’m exploring gift ideas for my sister's birthday and this catamaran experience seems perfect! She loves the ocean and snorkeling. Just not sure how the weather might affect their plans. Anyone have experience with rescheduling or if it’s comfortable for a newbie?
