Join us on this two hour private boat tour as we explore the calm waters behind Folly Beach in search of the local bottlenose dolphins. As we cruise through the creeks and inlets, you will have the opportunity to see these beautiful animals play, sleep and hunt. If the dolphins are feeding, you may be able to observe a hunting strategy called “strand feeding,” only seen in this part of the world. Along the way, you will also have the chance to see other local wildlife, such as wading birds, bald eagles, osprey, pelicans or maybe a sea turtle. This cruise includes up to 6 people for one price!

Q: Is there an age limit for the dolphin tour? Can kids come along?

A: There’s no specific age limit! Kids of all ages can join the tour. Just keep in mind that life jackets are provided for everyone, so it’s a good idea to let the staff know ages in advance. It’s a fun, safe experience for families!

Q: What should I wear for the dolphin tour?

A: Dress comfortably and in layers! I’d recommend wearing a swimsuit with a cover-up, and don’t forget a hat and sunglasses. It can get windy on the water, so a light jacket might be nice, especially later in the day.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: They’ll definitely reschedule if the weather isn’t safe for the tour. Just make sure to call ahead! Their customer service is really helpful and they’ll work with you on finding another time that suits you.
