Q&A
A: There aren't any strict age limits! The tour is family-friendly, but kids under 12 definitely enjoy it more since the guides tailor stories to keep them engaged. Just keep in mind the vehicle space if you have a larger group. If you're looking for something educational and fun for the kids, this is a great option!
A: If you’re not at a hotel, you can schedule a pickup from any location in the city. Parking can be tricky downtown, but the tour company is great at finding convenient spots for drop-offs. Just make sure to coordinate with them in advance. All you need to do is provide the pickup address!
A: No worries! The tour operates rain or shine because the vehicles are fully enclosed and air-conditioned. If there’s severe weather, they’ll reschedule, but light rain won’t stop the fun. Just check the forecast before you go!

Thinking about gifting the Private City Tour in Houston!
I’m trying to decide whether to book the Private City Tour of Houston for my parents’ anniversary. They love history and have never really explored the city much. The tour covers places like River Oaks and the Museum District, which they’d appreciate. Has anyone done this tour? What did you think? Did the guides share interesting local stories?
Just did the Private City Tour of Houston, and wow!
We just got back from the Private City Tour of Houston, and it was amazing! The driver picked us up from our Airbnb, and we cruised around in this nice, comfy vehicle. Seeing the Museum District and hearing the history was just great. We even got some cool souvenirs! Totally worth the price!
