Q&A
A: There's no strict minimum age for the tour, but I'd say it's best suited for kids aged 10 and up. The tour involves quite a bit of walking and some historical context that might be a bit boring for younger kids. But if you have a group of younger ones, they might still enjoy the food part in the North End!
A: Definitely go with casual and comfortable! You'll be walking quite a bit, especially along the Freedom Trail and through the North End. I recommend wearing good walking shoes and dressing in layers since the weather can change. Also, don’t forget sunscreen if it’s sunny!
A: Yes! They’re pretty flexible with rescheduling due to weather. Just make sure to contact them at least 24 hours in advance. They understand that Boston weather can be unpredictable, and they want you to enjoy the experience!

Just did the Private Culinary & Freedom Trail Tour in Boston—amazing!
I went on the Private Culinary & Freedom Trail History Walking Tour last week and it was a blast! We started at Quincy Market, where we sampled some great food from different vendors. Then we walked the Freedom Trail and learned so much history. The highlight was definitely the North End—those Italian dishes were to die for! Our guide was super knowledgeable and entertaining. I can't recommend this enough as a unique gift for anyone who loves food and history!
Considering this as a gift! Who’s it good for?
I’m thinking of getting the Private Culinary & Freedom Trail Tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love history and trying new food. Has anyone done it? Is it good for older folks who might not walk too fast?
