Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for the boat? Asking for a family member who's a bit on the heavier side.

A: There isn't a strict weight limit, but the boat is designed to comfortably hold up to 6 passengers. If you're concerned, just let the captain know beforehand; he's super accommodating! This way, they can ensure everyone has a great experience without feeling cramped.

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather isn't great? Want to gift this, but I don’t want to ruin the surprise with bad weather.

A: Absolutely! If the weather looks rough on the day of your tour, the captain will work with you to find a new date that works for everyone. Just keep an eye on the forecast and communicate with them as it gets closer to your date!

Q: What should we wear? Is it chilly out in the boat? Trying to figure out what to pack for my kids.

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get a bit breezy out on the water, so a light jacket or sweater is a good call. Also, don't forget sunscreen and hats for the kiddos—you're out in the sun for a while, and it's easy to forget that while you’re having fun!

Just did the Dolphin Adventure at Folly Beach—amazing!

We just got back from the Private Dolphin, Lighthouse and Shelling Adventure, and it was such a blast! Our captain was super knowledgeable about the history of Morris Island and took us right by the lighthouse. We saw dolphins popping up next to the boat, which was unreal! The shelling was also a highlight—found some beautiful conch shells. Definitely worth gifting this experience! Prices are really reasonable, too.

Thinking of gifting this dolphin tour—any advice?

I’m considering getting this dolphin tour for my parents’ anniversary! They love nature and history, plus it’s private, which seems perfect for them. Any tips or things to know before I book? Just wanna make sure it’s something they’ll really enjoy.
